Y-Seam

Piecing

A set-in seam where three pieces meet at a single point, forming a Y shape. Common in blocks like Tumbling Blocks.

Y-Seam / Set-In Seam Point

Three angled fabric patches meeting at a single central point. Stitching stops exactly 1/4" before the edge.
