Quilt provides a suite of free, browser-based quilting tools including but not limited to:

• A Pattern Maker for designing quilt layouts on an interactive grid
• A Block Library for browsing and referencing classic quilt block patterns
• A Yardage Calculator for estimating fabric requirements
• A Quilting Dictionary for looking up terms and techniques

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice or liability.

3. User Conduct

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of others. You must not:

• Use the Service to transmit any unsolicited or unauthorized advertising or promotional material
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its related systems
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any portion of the Service
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access or collect data from the Service without our prior written consent
• Introduce viruses, trojans, worms, or other malicious code into the Service
• Use the Service in any way that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair it

4. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, and software — are and will remain the exclusive property of Quilt and its licensors, protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of any quilt patterns or designs you create using the tools on this Service. However, by using the Service you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store and display your content solely as necessary to provide the Service to you.

Classic quilt block patterns referenced in the Block Library are part of the public domain of quilting tradition. Any original written descriptions, illustrations, and metadata we provide are our own intellectual property.

5. Third-Party Links and Services

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by Quilt. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites. We strongly advise you to review the terms and privacy policy of any third-party site you visit.

6. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, or that any errors will be corrected. Yardage calculations and other estimates provided by the Service are for informational purposes only. Always verify measurements before purchasing fabric.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Quilt, its officers, directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including without limitation loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses — resulting from:

• Your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) the Service
• Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service
• Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content
• Any errors or omissions in calculations, patterns, or other content provided by the Service

Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed $100 USD.

8. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Quilt and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to your violation of these Terms or your use of the Service.

These Terms, together with any other legal notices or policies published on the Service, constitute the entire agreement between you and Quilt with respect to the Service and supersede any prior agreements or understandings.
